Theresa "Terry" Louise Blonsky, 69, passed away on February 15th, 2024, at Kaplan House. She was the widow of Gerald Blonsky.
Born in Middletown, NY, she was the daughter of Julius Kania and Evelyn Burham. She graduated from Pine Bush High School in 1974.
She was a Jehovah's Witness. She enjoyed reading and spending time with the senior group in Pine Bush.
Theresa will be remembered for her caring, kind and giving nature. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and her sister, Joanna Kania Brown. She is survived by her brother Larry Kania Sr. (Bette), sister Dr. Patricia Lynch (Donald), brother Andrew Kania, stepsister Janet Swenson (Mark), nieces and nephews Krista, Larry Jr., Kimberly, Matthew, Kelly, Ryan, Erin, Dana, Katie, Alexis, Danielle, Michelle, Brian, Darren, many great nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held at DeWitt-Martinez Funeral Home on Monday, February 19th, 2024, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Orange County or Kaplan Family Hospice Residence. Messages of condolences may be left at Martinezfuneralhomes.com.
