**In Loving Memory of Theresa Ann Hawkins**
Theresa Ann Hawkins, born on July 14, 1951, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was a cherished daughter to Isaac and Elizabeth Williams. From an early age, Theresa embraced her faith, accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was a proud graduate of Capitol High School in Baton Rouge and dedicated many years of service to Louisiana State University before retirement.
Theresa’s heart was filled with love for her three children—Lisa, Genella, and Jimmy—who were her greatest joys. She was a devoted mother and a faithful member of the Fruit of the Spirit Ministries, faithfully pastored by Ruth Brown. Throughout her life, she held firmly to the belief that "The Good Lord will take care of her." This motto was a guiding light, reflecting her unwavering faith and strength.
Her presence radiated joy and peace, touching the lives of family, friends, and loved ones. Theresa’s spirit will be deeply missed, yet she will live on forever in the hearts of those she held dear. She leaves behind her loving children, Lisa Jones (Michael), Genella Williams, and Jimmy Williams (Tashika), along with her 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.
Theresa was also blessed with loving siblings: James Williams (Linda), Sandra Price, and Ronald Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Elizabeth Williams, her husband, Jimmy Hawkins Sr., as well as her brothers Alvin, Joseph, and Houston Williams, and her sisters Susan Wicks, Beverly Ealy, and Sherri Williams.
As we celebrate the life of Theresa Ann Hawkins, we honor the love she shared, the memories created, and the legacy of family that will endure. She will always be remembered with love and gratitude.
