Theresa Emily (Leverich) Roberts, 63, lifetime resident of Gloucester passed away at home on November 12, 2024, in the presence of her loving family. She was born in Gloucester on September 24, 1961, to her late parents, Thomas and Patricia N. (Farnsworth) Leverich. Theresa worked for many years as a clam shucker for Kelly's.
Theresa was a selfless and generous soul, who would often help those who were less fortunate than herself. She enjoyed the many simple pleasures in life, often enjoying a cup of coffee in the company of family and friends, spending time in her garden, visiting the local thrift shops and combing the beaches looking for sea glass. She touched many lives in many different circles and will fondly be loved, cherished and missed by all.
As the beloved matriarch of her family, Theresa is survived by her four children; Ryan Roberts, Sean Roberts, Matthew Leverich, and Teala Bailey & her fiancée John Depaula, all of Gloucester. She was the cherished grandmother to Owen Roberts and Enzo Depaula. Theresa is also survived by her sister Patricia M (Leverich) Saunders and her husband Frank, also of Gloucester, many cousins, and her dear friend Tootsie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Leverich.
Funeral services for Theresa will be private. Arrangements by Campbell Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester, MA. Directions, condolences, information at www.campbellfuneral.com.
