Theresa "Terrie" Marie Smallwood, 67, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on April 28, 2024.

Terrie was born to Jack and Constance "Connie" (Partello) Tobias on October 12, 1956 in Detroit, MI. Terrie really enjoyed making Christmas cookies and making jelly. She worked for many years cutting wood with Lisa. She also spent time working for Ausable Towing cleaning their offices and also cleaning other rentals. Terrie worked with her husband at the time, Jerry Smallwood, to build their home. She was proud that they built it completely on their own and she also did all the woodwork on the interior of the home. Terrie was a vibrant soul with a beautiful sense of humor. She is deeply missed by her family and friends.

Terrie is survived by her children, Toni Nolfo, Steven Klotchko, Jeremy Smallwood, and Joseph Smallwood; grandchildren, Brittnie, Gene, Alex, Aaron, Steveie, Joshua, Kendra, and Cassie; and brother, Jack Tobias. Terrie is preceded in death by both of her parents; brothers, Frank Partello and Stewart Tobias; and ex-husband, Jerry Smallwood.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 12:00 - 8:00 PM at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home, 1108 W North Down River Rd, Grayling, MI 49738.
