On August 17th, 2021 Thomas B. Ward, 65, passed away at home. His Memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on August 20, 2021 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel in Havana, FL
Tommy was born on January 17th, 1956 in Donalsonville, GA. He was youngest of 11 siblings and the last surviving child to James Ward and Wilma (Cloud Ivey) Ward.
Tommy graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1975 and quickly gained a reputation for quality work in auto body and auto repair. With his mechanical aptitude and eye for detail, he became a supervisor over painting at United Plastics as well as an owner at A1 Autobody and Allied Industrial.
Tommy's professional merits were balanced by a joy of spending time fishing with his family and close friends whom he loved dearly. Anyone fortunate enough to be in his circle of love will always remember his passion for storytelling, his cooking, and his unique sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife Carol of 40 years, two daughters and their spouses Kristina and Steve and Valarie and Tim, five grandchildren Andrew, Kyle, Richelle, Ethan, and Cali, and two great grandchildren Tyler and Scott.
The following words were written years ago by Tommy and he requested that they be included in his service:
"As we go through life, we all have good times and bad times, troubles and treasures. My greatest treasure was my wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Always tell the people that you love, that you love them often. I always did.
Goodbye everyone,
Tommy
