Mr. Thomas Edward Brooks

Thomas Edward Brooks, 80, husband of Kathy Simpkins Brooks, of Ocala, FL, passed away on August 15, 2025, at his home. A native of Huntington, West Virginia, Mr. Brooks was the son of the late Charles Thomas and Eugenia Kincaid Brooks. He retired as a purchasing agent and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to his wife, Mr. Brooks is survived by his daughters: Heather Lozada (Paul) of Jay, FL and Tracy Joyce (Wayne) of Gilbertsville, KY; and grandchildren: Alexis and Mason Joyce, and Madison and Aaron Lozada. Tom was married to his beloved wife Kathy for 54 years. He was a former resident of Keowee Key and enjoyed boating and fishing with his grandchildren on Lake Keowee. He was an avid vintage Mopar car enthusiast. He attended and showed his 1965 Plymouth at the Blue Ridge Festival and Seneca Car Rallies. Over the years, Tom was a passionate Nascar fan and enjoyed attending and camping at the races. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by a brother. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, August 22, 2025, at Oconee Memorial Park. Flowers are accepted.
