Thomas Allen Camp, 73, of Bruce, MS, passed away on January 2, 2026, at his home in Bruce, MS. He was born in Bruce, MS on June 29, 1952 to the late Thomas Clinton Camp and Syble Baker Camp.
Thomas was a graduate of Bruce High School Class of 1970 and attended ICC automotive technician school, which lead to an career as an Automotive Technician spanning over 50 years prior to retirement. He was a member of Mt. Comfort Baptist Church and where served as teacher of the Adult Men's Sunday School class as well as a member of the security team for the church. Thomas was a founding member to establish the Banner Fire Department where he served his community for 36 years as a Volunteer Fireman. Thomas also served as OSAR Search and Rescue. He loved to spend time outdoors crappie fishing along with duck hunting and he enjoyed woodworking in his spare time.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Donna Bell Camp of Bruce, MS; a Son, Clint Camp and his wife Christian of Hernando, MS; and three grandchildren; Charlie Camp, Chelsea Camp, and Clarke Camp.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Clinton and Syble Baker Camp and an infant sister.
The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS from 5 PM until 8 PM along with visitation on Monday one hour prior to the funeral service.
A funeral service for Thomas will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce, MS with Bro. Kenneth Armstrong assisted by Bro. Rex Ard and a graveside eulogy Bro. Darrell Logan.
Burial will follow in Banner Cemetery in Banner Mississippi with Mark Busby, Kevin Camp, Ted Camp, Orville Carr, Gary Ledbetter, Terry Massey, Charlie Spradling, and Ronnie Poteete serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Adult Men's Sunday School Class of Mt. Comfort Baptist Church, members of the Banner Fire Department, Dennis Baker, Edwin Baker, Dustin Carr, Ed Moorhead, and Roger White.
