Thomas J. Cioffi, 75, of Delaware Avenue, died Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. He was born on December 5, 1948, in New Castle, the son of the late Patsy and Mabel (Myers) Cioffi. He was married to the late Billie Jean (Moore) Cioffi, who died on October 2, 2019. Mr. Cioffi was an operator at Pat Cioffi Construction, retiring after over 40 years. He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the CB's. He enjoyed collecting cars, playing cards, hunting, and was a life member of Duck's Unlimited.
He is survived by one brother, Robert P. Cioffi and his companion Freda Shaftic, one sister, Tricia Droeder and her husband Fred, five nieces, Michelle Cioffi, Gina Van Eman, Elyse Rice, Charlie Richards, and Mara Droeder, and eight great nieces and nephews all of New Castle.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Richard C. 'Ricky' Cioffi.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 27, 2024, from 3 PM to 5 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A blessing service will be celebrated Friday, September 27, 2024, at 5:00 PM, at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
