Thomas Carl "Apple" Coleman Jr., age 75, of Williamsburg, Virginia, passed away on June 9, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born on January 18, 1950.
Thomas was an honorably discharged United States Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran and a Greyhound Bus Driver for over thirty years.
Tom was a devoted father, grandparent, and friend. He was a pillar of strength and a source of endless love. In his retirement years, he volunteered at the local DAV Chapter 34 and at his church.
Tom is survived by his three children, Victoria "Toi" Coleman, Thomas Coleman III and Stephanie Coleman; along with his twelve grandchildren, Daniel Sullivan, Hayley Lanier, Ana Lanier, Jermaine Sullivan Jr., Joi Sullivan, Alonzo Coleman, Andre Christian, Brianna Christian, Jocelyn Sullivan, Thomas Coleman IV, Peyton Harris, and Paige Harris; and many other loved ones and friends.
A service with military honors to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2025, at New Zion Baptist Church, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be, at a later date, in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
