Thomas Frank Drudy, 75, of Greenville, passed away on May 19, 2025, in the care of The Grove at Greenville from complications of diabetes. He was born April 10, 1950, to Charles and Esther Drudy in Racine, Wisconsin. Upon graduating from high school, Thomas proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, ultimately earning the rank of Staff Sergeant at the end of his service.
After returning from the war, he spent over 40 years in the foundry industry. In 1991, Thomas married his best friend and the love of his life, Geraldine. He raised his son, Jeremy, and shared a lifetime of love, wisdom, and guidance with him. Thomas was a man of nature, loving fishing and the outdoors. Most of all, he was also a strong, proud fan of his Pittsburgh Steelers, a devoted fan, found seated at a TV each Sunday donning his Steelers' gear.
The only passion stronger than his love for the Steelers was the love of his family. He stood firm with his son, Jeremy, and was a source of unwavering support, guidance, and strength. He stood by his son Jeremy with unwavering support, strength, and devotion. A profound expression of his care as a father came during Jeremy's battle with cancer. He drove him 40 minutes each morning for radiation treatment, always offering encouragement and life lessons in the face of adversity.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Geraldine Drudy; his son, Jeremy Drudy; his stepdaughter, Jena Taylor; his daughter-in-law, Katalin Lehman; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sister, Kathy Stasik; and his brother, Charles Drudy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Esther; his brothers, Patrick and John; and his sister, Susan. Thomas may be gone, but his presence will continue with his loved ones and those he touched with his kindness and sense of humor.
