Thomas Kevin Kahn passed away at home on Sunday, May 25, 2025. He was born in Dallas, TX on July 1, 1967. He was the third of seven children born to Jean Marie and Melvin Henry Kahn. They lived in Cleburne, TX until the mid-seventies when they moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He and his older brothers went to Crestview Elementary and Highland High School, “Class of '86”. He met Cynthia in the early eighties, they married, and had a son, Kevin Valentine Kahn.
Thomas worked at NM Gas Co. for about 16 years when he met Lisa. They married in 2008. He continued his employment as a Master Service Tech for 15+ more years until he retired in 2022, but he wasn’t done yet.
He then started working for Los Alamos National Laboratory. He loved the job and his co-workers. A year and a half into his new career, he was diagnosed with cancer, and sadly lost that battle way too soon at the age of 57.
He is survived by his wife Lisa. His son Kevin and wife Samantha, 2 Granddaughters, Shyanne and Haydyn. Five brothers, Steve and wife Jennifer. Dave. Daniel and Anna. Jonathan. Jeremy and his wife Adrienne. One sister, Jenny,
and her husband Neal. His mother, Jean. And numerous nieces and nephews.
