I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THOMAS AS A FELLOW PARISHIONER OF SAINT BENEDICT CATHOLIC CHURCH IN TERRE HAUTE, INDIANA. HE AND HIS BELOVED DOG WOULD ATTEND MASS TOGETHER, AND WHAT A WELL-BEHAVED PET IT WAS, TYPICALLY LYING DOWN ON THE FLOOR CLOSE TO THOMAS' PEW, NOT EVEN ON A LEASH. AFTER MASS, SEVERAL OF US WOULD CHAT WITH THOMAS AND PET HIS CANINE COMPANION.

Tom and I became close friends over 7 years. It was always interesting to be with him. I feel in love with him as a Father figure. We had so many great times.
