I did not know Tom well except for seeing him at Walmart. He was awesome. Always cracking a joke. My dog Bo and I walk almost every day past the garden center doors. He always came out to play with him! He was a bright spot in my and Bo´s day! So sorry he is gone!. We´ll miss you Tom!!

Hi,
I just found out that he passed. My daughter and myself were customers at Home depot. My daughter did not have a Dad or grandpa, so she adopted Tom. She would make him pictures at school and liked hime very much. He was such a good person.
I am sure he will be missed dearly.

MAY HE REST IN INTERNAL PEACE!

Hello. My name is Mitch. I just recently found out the news about Tom. I am extremely heartbroken to hear this news. I moved up to the area a couple of years ago and always stopped at the Walmart pretty frequently for whatever I may have needed. I met Tom there and immediately had a great conversation. My father is originally from Long Island and hearing Tom´s accent, reminded me of my father right away. Every time I went to Walmart I always made sure to stop and say hi to Tom. Tom helped me pick out Christmas lights for my fiancé and I, even joining in our FaceTime in Walmart to crack some jokes and help us. The last time I saw Tom was at Walmart. I needed socks and only had my phone, thinking Walmart had Apple Pay. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Tom reached back and grabbed his wallet and put down $10 cash to help me for the time being. I only met Tom a handful of times, but I can tell you he is an extraordinary person. He made an everlasting impact on my life and taught me just the small acts of kindness can mean a lot. Rest In Peace Tom. Til we meet again.

Tom you were very friendly to people and everyone loved talking to you. You know more about Walmart than the owners did, they were wrong for letting you go . You will be missed when I go in the back door Walmart I think of you often and remember you well and also at QuickChek seeing you at the pumps God bless you and rest in peace.

I will always remember Tom, he was one of a kind. Always telling stories and a great salesman he was. Tom could sell anything without even trying.
All he´d have to say is hey you need a new hose , it´s marked down to $25.00 from 75.00, and just like that he sold it! Incredible. My funniest memory was the melons when a customer didn´t want them, he said Nichole like my melons. always being a comedian- I will miss Tom very much. He was a great guy!!! Until we meet again my friend , RIP and watch over Vera and your daughter!!
