Thomas Victor Stober, Jr., 41, of Louisville passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on October 18, 2024 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
He was born on March 7, 1983 in Louisville to his loving parents Thomas Victor Stober, Sr. and Marty Ann Duvall Stober.
He was a loving husband and father, his children were his world.
He worked as a package handler for UPS, was a 2001 graduate of St. Xavier High School where he played football, and received his associates degree from Jefferson Community College. He loved football especially the Cincinnati Bengals and U of K Wildcats, loved to play poker and online video games with his many friends and enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his infant children, Avery Jude, Christopher James and Kaitlynn Renna; close friends, Justin Cook and Leigh Weber; grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Besides his parents he is survived by his loving wife of 4 years (together for 11 years), Amy Marie Re-nna Balk Stober; children, Brent, Demauria, Kaylee, Thomas III, Alexis and Logan; siblings, Jeffrey Stober (Jacinta), Stephanie Gray (Travis), and Steven Stober; godparents, Alice and Donald Wissel; aunt, Joyce Stober; in-laws, Mark and Becca Balk, Tina and Troy Lindhorst; brothers-in-law, Matt Balk and Brian Balk (Jen); best friend, Andy Beets; cousins who were also his good friends, Chris Gooch and Sean Vincent; other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Ratterman Embry Bosse Funeral Home 2723 Preston Hwy.
Cremation was chosen. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial gifts may be made to the family.
