Thomas Subers, beloved husband, father, Pop-Pop, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025 at the age of 73.

A proud St. James alumni, Tom had a gift for connecting with people, whether behind the bar or across the negotiating table. He spent years bartending at The Plumstead, where he was known not just for pouring a good drink but for being the kind of guy who made everyone feel at home. Later, he channeled his charisma and drive into an outstanding career at Comcast, where he became one of their top-performing salesmen - a role that perfectly suited his smarts, charm, and ability to make people feel heard.

He was married to the love of his life, Lynn, for nearly 36 years. Together, they built a life full of laughter, love, and family. He was a proud and devoted father to Paul (Brittany) and Rachel (Greg), and an adoring Pop-Pop to his four grandchildren: Blyler, McKenna, Julianna, and Maeve.

A true Philly sports fan, Tom bled green for the Eagles. He found joy in barbecuing and cooking for his family, watching golf (and catching a well-deserved nap during it), and sharing his sharp mind with the contestants on Jeopardy! most evenings.

He was smart, funny, and endlessly charming - the kind of man who could make you laugh in an instant and always had a story worth telling. His warmth, wit, and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor his memory by sharing a meal with those you love, cheering for the Eagles, or simply enjoying a quiet Sunday nap.

Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services for Thomas on Monday, September 22nd at 12 noon at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery 1600 S Sproul Rd, Springfield. Guests are asked to meet in the lot next to the administration building.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
