He was born February 28, 1938 in Lafayette, Louisiana to the late Marcus Luther Thompson and Thelma (Hagemeier)Thompson. In 1985, he married Harriet (Wilson) Thompson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Jon Edward Thompson.
Thomas loved fishing and geology. He was a graduate of Kansas University. He was a fan of KU basketball and Cardinal baseball. Thomas always enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
Thomas will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: his wife, Harriet Thompson of Rolla, MO, two sons, Wade Thompson of St. Louis, MO and Scott Thompson of Alton, IL; a stepson, Michael Klaus of Rolla, MO; a stepdaughter, Laura Crivello of Rolla, MO; five grandchildren, Erin, Kristin, Katlin, Kandace and Michael; and seven great grandchildren.
A graveside service for Thomas L. Thompson will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the St. Aloysius Cemetery in Argyle, MO.
