Thomas "Tom" Casey Obituary
Thomas Joseph Casey, 75, of Rockford, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025. Born June 27, 1950, to Marijule (Bombard) and James Casey in Belvidere, IL. He attended St. James Catholic and public schools in Belvidere. Tom had many adventures as a young adult; working on a fishing boat in Alaska, in the oil fields in Montana, and owned his own gas station. After a long career at Green Giant, Tom retired in 2006 and became known as a storyteller, entertaining friends and family.
Tom is survived by his wife, Jackie; son, Thomas (Jenna); grandsons, Finnegan and Calvin; two sisters, Janice and JeanAnn; and two stepchildren, Marnie (Jeff Shabani) Fischer and Tim (Jennifer) Fischer. He is predeceased by his parents; stepfather, Charles Hatfield; two brothers, James and Mark; and stepdaughter, Trina Fischer.
