Thomas Matthew Totterdale, aka Matt, 61, of Dimondale, Michigan, died on February 13th, 2025.
He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia to Thomas & Alice Totterdale. Matt was raised and grew up in St. Clairsville, Ohio with his two younger brothers.
Matt was a strong willed, hardworking man. There wasn't anything that could hold him back. He was a loving husband & son, an adventurous father and giving grandfather. He loved to hunt with his father, find bargains at garage sales, and not to mention antiques at the Mega Mall. He loved outdoor adventures with his children, thrill rides at cedar point, cuddling with his dogs and of course we all know he loved to eat. He also loved his friendships, specifically with his neighbor Shoney.
He is preceded in death by son, Bryan M. Totterdale; father, Thomas C. Totterdale and uncle, Ronald Totterdale. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife, Jenny Totterdale; daughter, Amanda Jensen (David); grandchildren, Alexis & Jacob; mother, Alice Totterdale; brothers, Bruce (Raelene), Steve (Elizabeth). Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Residential Hospice, Nicole and Tammy for their loving care at a time when it was greatly needed.
A Funeral Service will be held, Saturday, February 22, 2025, 2:00 PM at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Holt Chapel with Rev. Lyle Heaton officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends, Friday, February 21, 2025, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Visitation will continue at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Donations can be made to the Michigan Capital Area Humane Society, in honor of Matt. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.palmerbush.com.
