Tom was a dedicated, devoted, and loving husband to Lois J. Williams who preceded him in death on June 15, 2013. They were married for just shy of 62 years.
He attended Hanover College from 1948-1951. While at Hanover, he was a member of Phi Delta Theta and the undefeated football team which made it to the Burley Bowl. Lois often visited Tom at Hanover where they were considered the "it-couple".
During his professional career Tom spent 11 years as the Sales Manager for Hall-Neal Furnace Co. in Indianapolis before working for Consolidated Industries as the Vice President of Sales in Lafayette, IN. After that Tom started his own business, Tom Williams Heating and Cooling. He, then, later retired from Bard Manufacturing Co. in Bryan, OH after 12 years as the VP of sales from '82 to '94.
Tom was a Mason, a member of Toastmasters, a member of the Lafayette Country Club and the Orchard Hills Country Club in Bryan, OH. He served on their board as Vice President from 1995-2001. Tom and Lois were instrumental in reconstructing the new Orchard Hills' clubhouse. He was an avid golfer, the ultimate host and loved to play card games. He enjoyed the friendly-fun competition on the golf course and the card table.
He is survived by, son Thomas Andrew "Andy" Williams II of Parker, CO, daughters Catherine (Jeff) Hudson of Lafayette, Cynthia (Barry) Richard of Lafayette and Nancy (Mike) Schaer of Wesley Chapel, FL; 11 grandchildren: Thomas Andrew "TA" III, Danielle, Carolyn (Stephen), Ryan (Stephanie), Clayton (Ashley), Courtney, Casey (Joe), Taylor (Ben), Joshua (Amanda), Matthew (Carlyn), Samuel Alexander "Alex" (Nicole); and 14 great-grandchildren: Colten, Cailyn, Olivia, Maxwell, Charlee, Paxton, Ryder, Cashton, Crosby, Barrett, Hazel, Cannon, Kile, and Scarlett.

Tom was a treasure to both Jim and me. My mind is full of countless memories of our times together with Lois and Tom, and I cannot find words that express the value of their friendship throughout the years. This photo of the two of them together (Spring, 2004) is some comfort in the wake of Tom's passing. Rest in peace together, Lois and Tom.
