Thomas C. Zinram, Jr., age 64, of Meshoppen, PA passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on Friday morning, May 16, 2025.
Born on February 15, 1961, he was the son of the late Carol Greggs Zinram and Thomas C. Zinram, Sr.
Growing up in Dalton, PA, Thomas attended Abington Heights High School and graduated with the class of 1979.
Shortly after high school, he joined the United States Army and served from 1981-1987, before joining the Army Reserves, where he served until 1996. After his service term ended, Thomas gained employment as an Engineer for the Tobyhanna Army Depot and would work there for 25 years until his well-earned retirement.
When not serving his country or working, Thomas enjoyed golfing, watching NASCAR and cheering on his favorite driver, Tony Stewart. He also liked to find time to race his own RC cars, travel, and follow his favorite professional sports teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Yankees, and New Jersey Devils. Most of all, Thomas cherished spending time with his family and friends.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Christine Zinram (m. Jan. 27, 2011) of Meshoppen, PA; his children, Amber, Joshua Reed of Tunkhannock, PA, and Krystin Foersch (Mike) of Tunkhannock, PA; his grandchildren, Nicholas and Nova Foersch; and his sister, Debbie Kubilus (Joe) of Dalton, PA.
Along with his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his sister, Wendy Zinram (d. Feb. 3, 2025).
A Celebration of Thomas' Life will be held on a later date at the convenience of his family.
