Tiago M Rezendes

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tiago Rezendes, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left us peacefully at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, on Monday, November 4, 2024, surrounded by the love, comfort, and care of his family.
Born in Faial da Terra, São Miguel, Azores, to the late Manuel and Evangelina (Perreira) Rezendes, Tiago carried the warmth of his homeland in his heart throughout his life.
Tiago was known for his kindness, generosity, and the love he shared with those around him. He will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, his infectious laughter, and the countless memories he created with his family and friends.
Tiago is survived by his two cherished daughters, Bethany Coccia, and Alyssa Deis (Joel Deis) who were his pride and joy. He also leaves behind four adoring grandchildren: Kaydia Leyshon, Robert "Bobby" Leyshon, Preston Deis, and Everett Deis. Each of them brought immense joy to his life, and he took great delight in watching them grow. He was the brother to Maria Frias, John Rezendes, Sr, and also survived by countless nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Antonio Resendes.
Tiago's funeral with visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 9:00am from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square), with a Mass of Christian Burial for the repose of his soul to follow in Saint Anthony Church, School Street, Taunton, at 11:00am. Interment in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
