Tibby Leonard Ball, Jr., 72 of Girard passed away December 19, 2025 at this home with his wife by his side. He was born in Erie to Tibby L. Ball, Sr. and Mary C. (Makey) Ball.
Tibby worked at many places over the years, mainly in the maintenance and construction industries. He retired in 2024 from Ball Properties, LLC, a company that he and his wife started in 2008, where they worked together renovating homes.
Tibby was a very active person and an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed the last couple of years fishing for Walleye on Lake Erie. His biggest joy was steelhead fishing on Elk Creek. He loved helping people with fishing tips and made many friends over the years with many tales to tell.
Tibby is survived by his wife Brenda Ball; sons, Jason Ball and Matthew Ball of Phoenix, AZ; siblings Robert (Patricia) Ball, Thomas (Charmaine) Ball, Mary Jane York, Elizabeth Ball, Virginia (Gilbert) Kinter, Judy (Richard) Corbin, Nancy (William) Szyplik, Sueann Bartlett, Linda (Lonnie) Ball, Sandy (Guido) Bucci, James Ball; a brother-in-law Brian Wedekind, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tibby was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother Kenneth J. Ball.
A thank you to all the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at St. Vincent Hospital, St. Vincent Cancer Institute and Allegheny General Hospital who helped him through his journey.
A special thank you to his LECOM VNA hospice team, Kate, Dawn, Tracy, Laura, Carrie and Amy who were a great comfort on the final leg of his journey.
Friends may call on the family at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, Girard, PA on Saturday December 27, 2025 from 1 pm until the time of service at 3 pm.
