Tiffany Baum Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Family Choice Funerals & Cremations on Apr. 15, 2025.
Tiffany LaVerne Baum, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on April 12, 2025, in Chesapeake, Virginia, at the age of 42. Born on March 26, 1983, in Norfolk, Virginia, Tiffany's life was a testament to love, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to family and friends.
A graduate of Deep Creek High School, Tiffany pursued her passion for helping others by obtaining her nursing certificate from Sentara College of Health Sciences. Her career as a nursing care partner was marked by compassion and dedication, qualities that endeared her to colleagues and patients alike. Recently, Tiffany had embarked on a new journey with Publix, where her warm and friendly nature quickly won her a circle of cherished friends.
Tiffany's interests were as vibrant as her spirit. A lover of reggae music, she found joy in the melodies of Sublime and cherished attending concerts and spending blissful days at the beach. Her adventurous soul thrived on vacations, especially those that brought her close to nature's wonders, like watching the wild horses at Corolla.
Family was the cornerstone of Tiffany's life. She treasured Sunday dinners and the time spent with her loved ones, nurturing bonds that would last a lifetime. Her kind heart extended beyond her immediate family, as she made friends everywhere she went, often turning those friendships into family-like connections. The "Iowa Street Crew" was among those who held a special place in her heart.
Tiffany is survived by her loving parents, Carl and Sandy Baum; her devoted brother, CJ; her cherished sister, Adrianna; her adored nephew, Mason; and her paternal grandmother, Trudy Baum. She leaves behind a large and loving family of aunts, uncles, and many cousins, along with countless friends who became family.
A visitation to honor Tiffany's life and legacy will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Family Choice Funerals & Cremations. Tiffany's ability to connect with others and her genuine care for everyone she met will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
