A service celebrating the life of Tim Robinson will be held at Pines Church in Somerville, AL on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Shane Wheeler officiating. Friends and loved ones are invited to join the family during visitation at 10:00 AM prior to the service.
Tim was surrounded by family when he passed peacefully at his home in Union Hill, AL on Saturday, July 19, 2025. He was born February 22, 1958, in Graysville, AL to Bobby and Becky Robinson.
Tim was a graduate of Minor High School class of 1976. He was a jack of all trades including installing billboards for Lamar Outdoor Advertising in Birmingham, AL until his health would not allow him to continue in that field. Tim had even earned his pilot's license until his diabetes diagnosis, at the age of 27, rendered him of that hobby. He was an avid duck hunter, pool shark and sports enthusiast, keeping up with NASCAR, golf and the Alabama Crimson Tide. He supported local sports as well and could often be found at the concession stand at many gymnasiums and fields.
Survivors include:
Wife- Tabetha Dawn Robinson,
Daughter - Jennifer Blocker (Daniel),
Son- Joshua Prince (Joanna),
Grandchildren- Tristen and Bentlee Blocker, Kay-Leigh and Karoline Helmuth and Abigail Prince,
Mother- Becky Snow,
Sister- Debbie McGuire, and
Brother- James Robinson.
He is also survived by a host of friends and many great neighbors.
Tim is preceded in death by his father- Bobby Robinson and beloved Uncle, Carl Ray Robinson.
Pallbearers will be Greg Benefield, Tommy Parsons, Joshua Prince, Jonathan Simmons, Harold Sloan, and Jim Whisenant.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Buddy Birdsong, Daniel Blocker, Dwane Bowen, and James Robinson.
