Timmothy M. Mickey

Mr. Timmothy M. "Tim" Mickey, age 52, of Robinson, IL died Thursday December 28, 2023, at 5:14 pm in the emergency room of Crawford Memorial Hospital, following an apparent massive heart attack at his home in Robinson.
Born May 1, 1971, in Olney, IL, he was born to Larry and Olga J. (Socha) Mickey. Tim graduated Robinson High School with the class of 1990. Tim was employed in the maintenance department at Hershey Chocolate Company in Robinson for fourteen years before going to work for Marathon Refinery, in Robinson, where he was now employed on Complex 5 for the past nine years.
He was a very dedicated husband, father and friend and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Tim held a membership with Final Call Cross-Fit, Robinson, IL and was very devoted to weight training and staying fit. He coached in the Jr. Football League and was also very passionate about Moto Cross and helping his son Porter in his racing effort as well as spending time with his "track" family. Tim never hesitated to help his family, friends or a stranger in need in any way he could.
Survivors include his wife, Christina JoAnne Mickey, Robinson, IL, his father and stepmother, Larry K. and Cheryl Mickey, Robinson, IL; a son, Porter Mickey, Robinson, IL; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cierra and Nicolai Tracy, Robinson, IL and Madison Staley, Robinson, IL; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Vince and Alicia Mickey, Panama City Beach, FL and Michael and Irene Mickey, Robinson, IL along with several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Olga Mickey in 2021; his grandmother, Vera M. Socha; a step grandfather, Warren High; grandfather, Michael Socha and grandparents, Ernest P. and Hallie Mickey.
The funeral service will be Friday January 5, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL with Pastor Mike Irvin officiating. Visitation will be Thursday January 4, 2024, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL. Interment will be in the Wilkin Cemetery, rural Oblong, IL.
