Timothy D. Bierman, age 59, of Nekoosa, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, after a short illness.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00am until the time of service. The burial will be held at Restlawn Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Tim was born on December 30, 1965, in Wisconsin Rapids to Donald and Elaine (Lom) Bierman. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1984 and then attended Mid-State Technical College for autobody repair. Tim proudly worked for Sonoco Paper Mill in Wisconsin Rapids, as a machine tender, until his passing. He had worked at the paper mill since July 9, 1990. He was a member of the Consolidated Musky Club Inc.
Tim found immense joy outdoors. He enjoyed fishing (especially musky fishing), camping, trips to the Boundary Waters in northern Minnesota, going to the family cabin in Phillips, WI, and spending time on his land simply puttering around. He always found something to tinker with. One of his greatest joys was spoiling his nephews, sharing fishing trips with them and his buddy, his dad, and creating lasting memories with the people he loved. Tim was a man of few words, but if you mentioned fishing, he could talk your ear off.
Tim is survived by his sister, Jodi (Joe) Erdmann; nephews, Ethan Erdmann, and Tyler (Lauren) Erdmann; great-niece, Elsie Erdmann; and brother-in-law, Peter Walczak. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Brenda Walczak.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tim Bierman Memorial Stocking Fund for the Consolidated Musky Club Inc.
