Timothy Bolin Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center on Dec. 6, 2022.
Faithful servant, loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, Timothy Gray Bolin, age 58 years young, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 5:45 am on Sunday, December 4th, 2022, after a courageous twenty-three-year battle with health complications. One of two children and the only son born to Wendell and Marcia (Murphy) Bolin, Tim was born in Martinsville, Indiana, on Tuesday, December 1, 1964.
The lifelong Martinsville resident loved Jesus and was proud to share his admiration and testimony. After high school, Tim attended Indiana Bible College and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Theology. At the tender age of twelve, he preached his first sermon at Crossroads Church in Mooresville, where he also gave his final sermon, "The Measure of A Miracle", on June 26th, 2022. He pastored for over twenty-five years in Eva, Alabama, and in Martinsville, Indiana. Tim was the pastor at Cornerstone Revival Center in Eva, Alabama from 1985-1989, Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Martinsville from 1989 – 2001, and Grace Tabernacle in Martinsville from 2004-2010. His love to share the word of Jesus also granted him opportunities to lead mission trips to the Middle East on three different occasions.
No stranger to hard work, Tim also owned and operated school buses for the MSD of Martinsville, was a general contractor, building several homes and churches in Indiana, a commercial estimator, and was an independent insurance adjuster with his wife and daughter.
Tim was a former member of the Martinsville Rotary Club for many years. He had a passion for learning and spent his spare time reading history books, presidential autobiographies, and anything spiritual. He also thoroughly enjoyed playing golf, especially with his father after introducing the beloved game to him. Without a doubt, his greatest joy was time spent with his family!
He will be deeply missed and always remembered by his family and friends including his wife and best friend, Deborah Ann (White) Bolin of Martinsville, whom he married on November 17, 1984; parents, Wendell and Marcia Bolin of Martinsville; son, Simeon (wife, Erin) Bolin of Mooresville, IN; three daughters, Beth (husband, Collin) Sedgwick of Spencer, IN, Abigail (husband, Gentry) Sharp of Louisville, KY, and Jalene (husband, Qyentin) Harris of Newburgh, IN; sister, Janet (husband, Mike) Brown of Orlando, FL; and ten beloved grandchildren, Onaleigh, Rylee, Amelia, Ava, Elijah, Ella, Adaline, Norah, Zayne and Ellis.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, December 8th from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Neal & Summers Funeral Home in Martinsville and from 10:00 am – 11:00 am on Friday at Crossroads Church in Mooresville. A service celebrating Tim's life will be on Friday, December 9th, 2022, beginning at 11:00 am at Crossroads Church, 10967 N. Kitchen Road in Mooresville. He will be laid to rest in New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville following a private graveside service.
