Timothy Cordova Obituary
Timothy Jason Cordova, 39, of Colchester, CT passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Born August 22, 1984, in Danbury, CT, he was the son of Gregory and Nancy (Carrero) Cordova. Timothy was a 2002 graduate of Bacon Academy High School. Tim worked many years at ESPN through Siracusa as a furniture installer where he enjoyed seeing famous athletes while walking through the complex. COVID shutdowns changed his direction, and he began working closer to home.
Connecting with family, friends and co-workers was important to Tim. He loved teaching his niece, Mackenzie, basketball, helping her with Lego builds or video games, as well as, hours at the Hopyard and Salmon River with friends. He was a Yankee fan and a die-hard Tampa Bay fan – but always explained that he was not a Brady fan, he was a fan who had orange creamsicle shirts in his closet alongside the red and black!
He was known by many names: Timothy, TJ, Tim, Chips, Timmay and will be missed by his parents, Greg and Nancy; best friend, Jill Page; sister, Crystal Jahns and husband, Dwayne Jahns; Michael Carrero, Richard Gale, Mathew Gale and Tony Falco, who he considered brothers of his heart; numerous other extended family and friends; and especially his fur-baby, Millie.
A Celebration of Life is planned on May 25th to share Tim stories and memories (contact a family member for details).
