Timothy D. Gellatly, 64, of Duluth, MN died at Essentia St. Mary's Medical Center on Saturday, June 15, 2024 with his family by his side.
Tim was born in Duluth, MN on May 5, 1960 to Deanna (Opal) and Harley Gellatly.
He was a hard worker installing gym floors, mostly working at schools on the east coast.
Tim was a good athlete in his younger years playing baseball and hockey mostly. He liked to ride his motorcycle whenever he had the chance. Tim was a very independent person and a man of few words. He will be remembered for his big heart and his willingness to help anyone in need.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Deanna Gellatly; his sister, Lori Gellatly and brother, Daniel Gellatly.
He is survived by his son, Adam Gellatly; his father, Harley Gellatly; his sister, Tami (John Stieben) Hendericks; his half-sister, Bobbi Gellatly and his former wife and friend, Ashli Hales.
Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th St. Superior, WI. A reception will follow the service at the Gopher Bar & Grill, 402 N Central Avenue, Duluth, MN.
