Timothy Hawkins, 62, of New Castle, passed away on July 12, 2025 at his residence.
He was born in New Castle on January 27, 1963 to the late James Edward Hawkins Sr. and the late Mattie Pearl Dixon
Timothy worked for many years as a certified chef. He valiantly served his country in the United States Army, serving with the Green Berets. Timothy was also a member of Teamsters Local 261
He is survived by his children, Tasha Chalmers, Jackson B. Hawkins Sr and Tremaine Houk; his siblings, Elizabeth Thompson, George L. Smith,, Johnnie Smith, James Hawkins Jr,Bennie Hawkins, Jeremy Hawkins, and Mark Hawkins; his grandchildren Ka'Lilah P. Hawkins, Aurora Cureton,Jackson B. Hawkins Jr., Renessmae R. Hawkins, Legend Hawkins, and Zylo Hawkins; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his Brother Eugene Smith and nephews, Leroy Thompson Jr. and Stacy Scott.
A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, July 26 from 12 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home, 941 S. Mill St. Following the service, everyone is welcome to the repast at Scottish Meadows Park in the Parkview Pavilion, 1945 Wilson Dr. New Castle, PA 16101
