Timothy Purvis Obituary
He was born December 15, 1958 in St. Joseph to Robert and Doris (Moran) Purvis. Timothy grew up in St. Joseph, where he graduated from Central High School. He then earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Missouri Western State College.
Timothy married Dimple Bennett on June 3, 1989. She survives of the home.
He was a police officer in Weston, Missouri and later in St. Joseph before working in the educational department as an agent trainer at American Family Insurance. Later he owned his own American Family agency in Arizona before retiring from the company after 35 years.
Timothy enjoyed woodworking, leather work and metal work, and liked to share his knowledge on his own YouTube channel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Daniel Keith Purvis.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Dimple; brother, Mark Purvis (Jody); and two nephews.
