Timothy Wayne Tatom

Timothy Wayne Tatom, 59, passed away on November 28, 2022 in Whitney, Texas.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December, 5th, at 2:00 p.m. at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. The family will receive friends at a visitation following the service.
Tim was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on May 31, 1963, to Pat Grona (Blaylock) and Eddie Vance Tatom. He attended Wichita Falls High School and was a graduate of the class 81'. During and after high school Tim worked several years for K&N. After that he worked as a pipeline mechanic and later a diesel mechanic at Tepher Sand and Gravel.
On his days off, you could often find Tim and Arnie fishing together at Lake Whitney. In his spare time he enjoyed watching TV. His favorite shows to watch were the NASCAR races and The Walking Dead. He was an avid reader, enjoying the likes of Stephen King and Dean Koontz.
Two things Tim loved in this world more than anything were his family and friends. If anyone he cared about was in need, he always did his best to help. Tim also would tried his best to make everyone laugh whenever possible.
Tim is preceded in death by his father, Eddie Vance Tatom; uncle, Mikel Blaylock; grandmother, Opal Nadine Blaylock; and granddaddy, Perry Blaylock.
Tim is survived by his wife, Bobbi Tatom; mother, Patricia Grona and husband Arnie Grona; daughter, Opal (Reese) Tatom; son, Timothy Vance Tatom; step-son Alex DeLeon; granddaughter Constance Paige Tatom; grandsons Nicholas Alexander Tatom and Kristopher Wesley Tatom; step-sisters, Michelle Carroll and Krystal Coffman; and many cousins and friends.
