Tina Hughes Parker

Tina Hughes Parker was born on June 9, 1963, and passed away on Sept. 18, 2025, at the age of 62.
Tina Louise Hughes Parker left to be with her Creator on the evening of September 18th, surrounded by the love of her family. She grew up with a big heart and a curious mind, graduating from high school in 1977 and Portland College in 1980. For many years, she served at Maine Medical Center as a cardiac surgical technician, always calm in the storm, skillful, and kind. Her dedication and intelligence earned her the respect and affection of all who worked beside her.
In time, Tina turned her energy toward a new craft, opening a cabinet refacing business with her soulmate, John. They moved to Washington, and together they built a life rich in mutual devotion and simple, steadfast love. Tina was a gentle beauty who found art in the everyday. She will be remembered for her bright mind, love of reading, and her laughter, always punctuated by a delightful snort.
Tina leaves behind a son, two daughters, eight grandchildren, several siblings, extended family members and a dedicated life partner. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Maine this spring, when the earth softens and the flowers return to welcome her home. Her family and friends will gather to honor a woman who was deeply loved and loved deeply in return.
