Survivors include a sister, Melissa Purvis of Miami, Florida; an aunt, Lisa Harrison of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Joan Purvis; grandparents, Henry and Nellie Cornell; sister, Jennifer Purvis Ross; uncle, Glenn Cornell; and two aunts, Ann Birchett and Kay Lee.
A private graveside service will be held at Providence Cemetery in Graham at a later date.
