Todd Eugene Braskett was born on October 9, 1959, to Donald Eugene Braskett and Patricia Regina (Reisinger) Braskett. Until recently, Todd was a proud lifelong resident of Somerford, Ohio. He attended Somerford Elementary, Deercreek, and graduated from London High School in 1978.
If you knew Todd, you knew what a prankster he was and how he liked to make light of everything. When Todd was a child before the time of air conditioning, he liked to scratch on the neighbor's screens at night to watch them get scared and have something to laugh about. He also would go to bed earlier than everybody else so he could hide at the top of the steps and scare whoever was coming up. As a kid, the worst thing in the world was knowing that Todd was going to "get you back". As Todd got older, he played jokes on anybody and everybody. If you were around Todd, you were guaranteed to be smiling and laughing.
Todd started training horses in high school. Horses were his first love. He continued to train and be involved with racehorses his entire life until his health no longer allowed him to work. He also worked for veterinarian Dr. Agle for over 20 years.
Todd was preceded in death by his father: Donald Braskett; nephew: Kyle Braskett; maternal grandparents: Kathryn and Jim Reisinger; paternal grandparents: Mary and John Braskett; he also lost many close friends over the years.
Todd is survived by his dedicated mother: Patty Braskett; siblings: Tamara Braskett, Timothy Braskett, and Tara (Mark Cox) Brady; nieces: Paige Brady and Jaimie Braskett; Nephews: T.J. Braskett Jr., Adrian Brady, and Karac Brady; Special Friend: Saundra Chandler.
Todd had a strong drive for knowledge and science. IN keeping with his beliefs and drive to always learn, Todd donated his body to science. There are no current plans for service at this time. The family however may have a memorial service at a later date. Todd would not want tears shed for him. He would want his friends and family to rejoice in the fact that he is in a better place and no longer suffering. He would want the good times discussed and laughter to be shared when talking and thinking about him. We will always smile when thinking about Todd and know he is with so many friends and family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lynch Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 124 East High Street, London, Ohio 43140.

I can't believe he's gone. I'm so sad and will always remember Todd for being such a good guy. I have known Todd since he worked for my dad, Doc Agle. I can still hear Todd saying "Doc, Doc." Todd was like a son to my dad. They were quite the pair. I'm sure there was never a dull moment when they were together. Their mutual love of horses became a lifetime occupation for both of them. Todd was dedicated to dad and our family. We will always be grateful to have had Todd in our lives. Rest in piece my friend.
