Todd L. Buntrock, age 59, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids with his family by his side.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 11 a.m. with Fr. Alan Guanella presiding. Visitation will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 4 to 7 p.m. Visitation will also take place on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Todd was born on March 19, 1962, in Appleton, WI to Donald and Verna (Pieper) Buntrock. He was a 1980 graduate of Hortonville High School. He continued his education by attending UW Eau Claire where he received his Bachelor's degree. Todd met the love of his life Lori Ashbeck and they were married on June 13, 1992, at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Todd started working at KeySavings Bank in 1991. He became the Vice President of KeySavings Bank. Todd was very involved in his community and was a member of: Rotary Club, Elks, Board of Directors at KeySavings, Home Builders Association, Wisconsin Bankers Association and Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
Todd was a man that loved to interact with people. Some would say that he had the gift to gab. He was the type of person that always was willing to go an extra mile for you. He enjoyed going hunting, fishing and bowling. Todd was an avid sports fan for professional, college and high school. He took pride in being able to not only attend but coach his children's sports teams. His children will always remember seeing their dad at their games and how he never missed one.
Todd is survived by his wife, Lori Buntrock; children, Nick Buntrock, Ashley Buntrock, Megan Buntrock; mother, Verna Buntrock; mother-in-law, Geraldine Ashbeck; brother, Jerry (Julie) Buntrock; sister, Lynn Buntrock; beloved beagle, Jasper and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Buntrock; father-in-law, Vernon Ashbeck and maternal and paternal grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Todd's name to the Assumption Athletic Department.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Aspirus Riverview ICU and Aspirus Wausau Cancer Center for their kindness and care of Todd and his family.

So sad to hear of Todd´s passing. I worked with him at Community State Bank at the beginning of his career and had interactions with him at Key Savings. He was always helpful & a very fun man. Our deepest condolences to Lori & his family. RIP Todd.
