Todd Laurence Martin

Todd Laurence Martin, age 56 of Corning, New York passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at home. He was born on January 22, 1968 in Montrose, Pennsylvania to Edwin and Mary Martin. Todd was a 1986 graduate of Scranton Central High School and a 1990 graduate of the University of Scranton.
Growing up Todd achieved Eagle Scout at the age of 13. He was a gifted singer and was a member of the All-state choir in college. Todd had the opportunity to tour Europe singing with his choral group.
From a young age Todd exhibited great compassion and interest in helping others, from wanting to follow his father in the ministry or offering a helping hand to the local elderly people from his church. He also worked at a children's home for many years.
His diverse career path, spanned from IBM to Lockheed Martin to Time Warner. Despite his professional accomplishments, Todd never lost sight of his passions, like football and music, which undoubtedly brought happiness to those around him.
Todd is survived by his mother, Mary Martin of Ohio; brother, Craig Martin, sister-in-law Sarah Martin and niece Rori Martin of Ohio.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on June 17, 2024 at Harrisburg United Methodist Church, 1160 High Street, Harrisburg, OH 43126. There will be a family visitation beginning at 11:00am. The memorial service will start at Noon and a luncheon at the church will immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Todds name may be sent to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the United Methodist Children Home, 6402 East Main Street Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.
