Tom Kern Obituary

He was born August 14, 1980, son of Thomas W. and Janice Myers Kern. Tom graduated from Bullitt East High School and attended Tennessee State University. He worked for Monument Chemical Company. As an avid sports lover, he was a lifelong fan of the Louisville Cardinals, Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Braves.
His mother preceded him in death and he is survived by his wife, Natalie Rice Kern; children, Braylen (11) and Camden (9) Kern; father, Thomas Kern; sister, Jennifer Anderson (Robert); parents-in-law, Darrell and Linda Rice; sister-in-law, Melissa Burton (Jacob); and was affectionately known as "Uncle Weasel" to numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating his life is 12:30pm Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road. Memorial visitation is 3-8pm Friday, December 6, 2024.
