Tonya (Adams) Buck, 57, of Daleville passed away on Sunday April 13, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness. She was born on September 21, 1967, in Muncie, the daughter of Frank and Barbara (McDowell) Adams.
She graduated from Cowan High School in 1985, after school Tonya went to work in the Dental field for 30 plus years, working for Dr. Krull and Dr. Risk. She loved taking family vacations and eating with her family at her favorite restaurant Texas Roadhouse. She could rarely be found without a diet Dr. Pepper in her hand. Tonya enjoyed riding her golf cart around town.
Tonya’s greatest joy was spending all her free time with her grandchildren and loved watching all their school activities. She was excited for baseball and softball season to start.
In addition to her parents Tonya is survived by her children, McKenzie (Jeff) Jackson, Madison Bennett and Carson Buck; grandchildren, Mason Jackson, Parker Jackson, Meelah Jackson, Journee Fleming, Greyson Bennett and Kinlee Bennett; siblings, Frankie (Brandy) Adams, Kristy ( Paul) Atkinson; many nieces and nephews and her fur babies, Sidney and Wrigley; Tonya was also a bonus mom to many for her children’s friends.
Tonya was preceded in death by the father of her children, Scott Buck; Special friend, Billy Level; maternal grandparents, Helen and Edward McDowell; paternal grandparents, Margery and Robert Adams and grandmother, Beverly Yarger.
Services will be held on Saturday April 19, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation 30 East 33rd Street New York, NY 10016.
