Tonya S. Gray

Ms. Tonya Renee Smith Gray was born on September 29, 1968 in Florence South Carolina to Linda Archie Goodson and Leroy Smith. She entered eternal on December 19, 2024.

Tonya was educated in Florence Public School System and was a proud graduate of Wilson High School class of 1986.

Tonya enjoyed going to church and singing, when she worshiped at Jesus Christ Church in Mullins, SC. In her spare time, she also enjoyed doing arts and crafts, cooking and talking on the telephone. She would call you all day and text you just to see what you are doing. Her pride and joy were being able to be around her grandchildren whom she lovely very dearly.

Tonya was preceded in death by her son, Terrell Smith; grandparents, Beatrice Archie and William Archie; and uncle, Nathaniel Felton. 

Those left to cherish her fond and loving memories are her mother, Linda Archie Goodson of Florence, SC; father, Leroy Smith of Florence, SC; her children, Tocarra Smith and Jessica Smith both of Florence, SC; six grandchildren, Jaylen Bailey, Janiyah Bailey, Kariyah Bailey, Nassir Burgess, Ni’Asia Jordan and Iy’Anna Jordan; her siblings, Terry Smith and Shemeka Smith both of Charlotte, NC and Leon Smith of Florence, SC and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
