Traci Lynn Bennett was born November 12, 1970 in Milton, Florida the daughter of Albert W. and Ann (Braxton) Bennett.
Traci graduated high school in LaPorte, Texas and then attended college in Florida. She spent most of her life in Texas, having worked for NASA, Joanne Herring and had owned a bar. For the last 17 years, Traci and her husband, John Rees have had many adventures. In addition to operating a bar together, the couple enjoyed traveling the United States in their R.V. They moved to Knoxville, Iowa in May of 2024 and Traci was currently working at Hy-Vee liquor.
Traci passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 at her home, in Knoxville, at the age of 54 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert.
Those left to cherish Traci’s memory include her husband, John Rees; mother, Ann Knolton of Texas; sister, Crisi Fetters of Texas; step-children: Joseph Rees and John Rees, Jr; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members and friends.
Traci has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
