Tracy Lynn McCord, daughter of Richard and Margaret (Brenner) Mount, was born October 13, 1970, in Santa Monica, California and departed this life December 29, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of fifty-four years.
On August 3, 1991, Tracy was united in marriage with Brian McCord. To this union was born two sons, Austin and Dyllan. Prior to Tracy's passing, she and Brian had shared thirty-three years of triumph and tears, love and laughter, side by side.
Tracy worked hard to help provide for her family. She worked in customer service for financial institutions for the majority of her working life. She worked for Infuze Credit Union for over fifteen years. Most recently, she was the product support manager for Jack Henry and Associates. She loved her job and treasured her co-workers.
Tracy enjoyed a variety of hobbies over the years. She was an avid slot machine player and enjoyed the trips with family and friends to the casino. She also enjoyed her "me time," getting her hair and nails done. However, her number one priority was her family. She supported her sons in everything they did. She was their number one fan and biggest supporter. Recently, her son, Dyllan, has been involved in go kart racing and Tracy could always be found cheering him on from the stands. When necessary, in her own way, she made sure his competitors knew when they were wrong. Her granddaughter, Delaney, was the light of her life and she held tight to every moment and memory they made together. Her family was her deepest joy and her greatest accomplishment. She loved them unconditionally.
Tracy is survived by her husband, Brian; two sons, Austin McCord and his significant other, Ashley Gregory of Lebanon, MO and Dyllan McCord and his fiancée Alyssa Nelson of Springfield, MO; her father, Richard Mount and his wife Willetta of Phillipsburg, MO; one sister, Jennifer Martin and her husband Chris of Pleasant Shade, TN; one granddaughter, Delaney McCord; two nieces, Claire and Madeline Martin; other relatives and countless friends.
Those preceding her in death include her mother, Margaret Mount in 2006, and brother-in-law, Troy McCord.
Tracy was so many things to so many people. Her smile was infectious and her laughter contagious. She passionately loved the people in her life. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tracy in person at JH a few years ago. Some of the MO team flew into KY for a manager meeting, and from the moment we met, it felt like we had been friends for a long time. Tracy and I shared many conversations about self-care, a topic she was passionate about and understood deeply.

She was such a classy lady, always with her hair and nails perfectly done. Tracy's elegance and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Tracy will be deeply missed, but her spirit and the memories we shared will always remain in our hearts.

With heartfelt condolences, Joy Terry
