Travis W. Ebert

Mr. Travis W. Ebert of Ashley, IL departed this life in the emergency room of the SSM/Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 4:26 A.M. after a sudden illness. He had attained the age of 44 years, 9 months, and 24 days.
Mr. Ebert was born on October 13, 1977, in Nashville, IL, the son of Lawrence Ebert and Nancy Wakefield. He was united in marriage to Tammy Buretta on July 22, 2000, in Ashley, IL and she survives his passing.
Travis worked as an Industrial Maintenance Technician for many various companies most recently at Swan Industry in Wamac, IL. Travis was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed boating, fishing and gardening. He was a family man and loved spending time with them.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Tammy Ebert of Ashley; two children, Mark Ebert of Edwardsville and Xander Ebert of Ashley; his mother, Nancy Wakefield of Peoria; grandmother, Velda Ebert of Seymor, MO; three brothers, Chris Ebert of Ashley, Charlie Ebert and Misty Faulkner of Ashley and Larry Ebert of Peoria, IL; sister, Billee Olberding and husband Tom of McLeansboro, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandfather, Lawrence Ebert and sister-in-law, Robin Ebert.
Per the wishes of Travis and his family, cremation was performed and a Celebration of Life service will be held at the Ashley Community Building in Ashely, IL on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 1 P.M.
Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the Washington County State Recreation Area and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
