Travis Ferrell Walker

Mr. Travis Ferrell Walker, age 79, a resident of Lakeland, Florida, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale surrounded by his family. Mr. Walker was born June 3, 1945 in Patsburg, Alabama to JD and Ruthie (White) Walker. He was a resident of Polk County since the 1940's coming from Alabama and attended Auburndale Schools. Travis was a retried Floor Covering Installer and was part of the Cherokee Indian Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife – Joyce; 2 brothers – Leon & Alvin and sister – Gladys. Travis is survived by his loving family, daughter – Traci DuFault and husband Wyatt of Lakeland, Florida; son – Travis T. Walker of Pensacola, Florida; companion – Brenda Stone of Lakeland, Florida; brother – Billy Walker and wife Sandra of Lakeland, Florida; 3 grandchildren – Vanessa, Justin & Ashley; 1 great grandchild. Graveside service will be held 11am Friday, February 28th at Mount Enon Memorial Cemetery, 3702 North Frontage Road, Plant City, Florida.
