Tre Maria Forlano, age 79 passed away on July 25, 2024, at Little Flower Manor in Darby, PA.
Born in Philadelphia, she attended Southern High School and continued her education at Temple University earning a bachelor's degree in business and later Graduated from Neumann University with a master's degree in organizational behavior. She moved to San Franciso while employed by the U.S. General Accounting Office working as a Job Auditor. She received special recognition for her valuable contributions in her line of work. She retired at the age of 60 and moved back to Philadelphia and resided at the Atria Center City so she could be close to her lifelong friends.
Tre loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was intelligent and extremely disciplined with taking care of her health which enabled her to live well despite having MS for over 50 years. She was caring and kind to all that knew her and continuously generous to her family and friends.
Tre loved listening to opera and classical music thanks to her family's musical background. She even initiated a classical hour at the Atria that the residents still enjoy today.
She enjoyed spending time with her lifelong friends and is best known for keeping her friends in touch through her yearly visits to Philadelphia and once retired would host them at the Atria where they enjoyed festive lunches and dinners throughout the years creating great memories.
Tre is preceded in death by her parents Americo and Elizabeth Forlano and her brother Daniel Forlano. She is survived by her cousins and many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held in September. Donations can be made in her memory to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 30 S 17th St #800, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
