Tressa Ann Criddle of Livingston, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully at home on June 15, 2025, at the age of 69, surrounded by her loving family.
Tressa was born in Dallas, Texas, to Relmon and Geneva Whitus who raised her in Van, Texas. Tressa lived a life full of love, resilience, and generosity, always putting her family first and offering warmth and kindness to everyone she met.
On July 26, 1991, she married the love of her life, Raford Criddle, and together they built a life rooted in love and family. She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and friend whose caring spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Her faith in God sustained her throughout her life, and she and Raford attended the First Baptist Church of Providence. Tressa was a beautiful woman who brought a calm presence wherever she went, and her legacy will continue through all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Raford Criddle; children, Amber Trlicek & husband Jimmy, Jesse Seago & wife Devin, Sheena Bates, Brian Criddle & wife Julie, Josh Criddle, Mckenzie Shelley & husband Caleb; brothers, Kevin Whitus & wife Tonya, and Darryl Whitus & wife Susan, grandchildren, Alyssa, Briana, Ty, Kylie, Skyla, Kendall, Brooke, Bre'Iya, Brenlynn, Jennie, Sydney, Joshua, Emitt, Gentrie, and a baby girl due soon; great-grandchildren, Braylon, Bryson, Naomi, and Reagan; as well as many other beloved family members and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Tressa was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carol Chandler.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2025, at The Colony Church in Alba, Texas, with Rev. Robert Murphy officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harbor Hospice, 317 W. Church St., Livingston, TX 77351.
The family would like to thank them for their invaluable and compassionate care they provided Tressa and the family.
