Trevison James Bethel of Uhrichsville passed away on June 30th 2023 at the age of 90 following a health decline with dementia. He was born in Flushing, Ohio on May 11th, 1933. He was the son of William James Bethel and Goldie May Bethel ( Nabb). Trevison retired from Republic Steel in Massillon, Ohio. He served in the Army and was a soldier in the Korean conflict. He enjoyed life, his interests were gardening, wood working, water skiing, ice skating and hiking. He also enjoyed watching his great grandchildren play, in his later years.
Trevison was previously married to Connie McPeek; their children are Larry, Sonny and Timothy Bethel. Then married to Waverly Mae Bethel (Mishler) in August of 1971, they had two daughters, Linda Sue and Joyce Ann Bethel. Trevison is survived by his sister, Gloria Coverdale of Dennison and Carol Jean Hennis of East Liverpool; numerous nieces nephews and Trevison is the grandfather to 22 and great-grandfather to 27.
Trevison is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Sue and his brothers, Kenneth Bethel, Robert Bethel, Marvin Bethel and his sisters, Pearl Clifton and Dorothy Phillips.
Services for Trevison, officiated by Pastor Jerrylyn Myers, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 at Leesville Methodist church in Leesville, Ohio and visitation will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Trevison, please visit our Tree Store.
