Obituary published on Legacy.com by Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home & Crematory on Oct. 4, 2024.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Trevor Matthew Jacobs, age 30, who peacefully left us surrounded by his loving family on September 25, 2024, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Born on February 24, 1994, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Trevor was a fitness enthusiast, finding solace in activities like working out in the gym, walking in the park, and cycling.
A graduate of Milford High School, Trevor possessed an infectious enthusiasm for life, always seeking new experiences, meeting new people, and bringing joy wherever he went. Many opportunities took him on adventures around the world.
He leaves behind his grieving parents, Dwayne and Barbara Jacobs, his sister Brittany (Nathan) Meyer, his brother Taylor (KC) Jacobs, his grandparents, Robert and Diane Bottom, and Juanita Jacobs, along with many extended family and friends. Trevor cherished every moment spent with his family and friends. His spirit will be deeply missed. Trevor will live on in the hearts of everyone he touched.
Trevor was preceded in death by his grandparents Linda Nickol and William Jacobs.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10th, 2024, from 10:00 AM until services begin at 12:00 noon, at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231. Once on the grounds of the memorial park turn LEFT and follow the BLUE line to the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
In honoring Trevor's wishes, his remains will be laid to rest in a burial ceremony. Your presence and support are deeply appreciated by the Jacobs family in this time of mourning.

When I first met trevor I was immediately attracted to his behavior just as much as his looks! We talked on an off for a year an went to a few events together in Chicago. Although we never enveloped into a relationship I still considered him a friend and tried to stay In touch after his move to florida. He was always so fun to be around an if you were lucky enough to know him you always knew he was there to actually listen to you and make you feel heard. I will miss him very much.

I first met Trevor at a pool party in Cincinnati. He showed up unexpectedly, wearing one of my ball caps that I´d accidentally left at a mutual friend´s house. We hadn´t met before, but from that moment, I knew Trevor was someone special-a guy with a huge heart, always going out of his way to help others, even in small, unexpected ways. That day, we didn´t just hit it off. We knew we´d be best friends.

It´s hard to pick a favorite memory with Trevor because, honestly, every moment with him was unforgettable. Whether we were jamming out to Beyoncé on the way to a night out in Columbus, finding joy in the smallest things, or just watching him look out for the people he loved, Trevor had this infectious energy that made even the simplest moments shine. He had a way of turning ordinary experiences into lifelong memories.

Trevor lived life with a sense of fun and purpose, always bringing light wherever he went. He never let you feel alone or unsupported. It´s that heart and spirit that I will always carry with me.
