Troy J. Wilson was born to David and Jeanette (Swiontek) Wilson on April 19th, 1971. He grew up in the Bancroft area and attended school at Almond-Bancroft.
Troy joined the United States Navy after graduating high school. He was on the USS Lewis and Clark Submarine until it was decommissioned, where he had the opportunity to visit many areas of the world. Troy was very proud of his service in the Navy.
After the Navy he worked for area farmers, fertilizer companies and drove dump truck. He enjoyed deer hunting with family and friends, he would often go on rides to help fill his day shining deer in neighboring fields. He also had a passion for classical cars, Mark Martin, old guns, and anything collectable. Troy also had a great love of animals as he had pet cats, dogs and even a baby racoon.
Everyone that Troy met became a friend, he had a very loving and accepting personality. There were no strangers for him. He had a very loving heart as he would help friends and strangers in any way that he possibly could. His great niece and nephews loved when Uncle Troy came to visit. When they saw his truck in the driveway they would yell out of excitement.
