Tucker Michael Utech passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at the age of 19. Born on August 31, 2006, in Farmington to Rachel (Parry) Utech and Scott Utech, Tucker was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend whose gentle spirit and kind heart left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
Tucker is survived by his loving parents, Scott Utech and Rachel Utech (Scott Wilson); his older brother, Westley Utech, and younger brother Colter Utech; his girlfriend, Scarlett Pinson; and his bonus sister, Mackinzie Pashia. He is also cherished by his grandparents, John and Mary Esther Parry, and Garland and Dianna Utech. Tucker leaves behind many aunts and uncles, including Dillon and Sonia Parry, Jessica and Steve Riddle, Amy Utech and Matt Shannon, and Michael and Carol Reed, along with a host of cousins he deeply loved — Caleb Parry (wife, Abie), Blake Schnider (wife, Michelle), Kali Parry (Carter), Paydon Parry, Beau Riddle, Ella Riddle (Kyle), Lydia Minnegerode, Kalvin Shannon, Alexandria Utech, and Paige Utech — as well as numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his niece, River Utech; his uncle, Lance Utech; and his great-grandparents, Rev. Melvin and Mildred Reed, Pete and Evelyn Parry, and Fred and Marguerite Utech.
A proud graduate of Potosi High School Class of 2025, Tucker participated in baseball, FFA, and Washington County 4-H. A hardworking young man with a kind and giving heart, Tucker was always ready to lend a helping hand — whether working alongside his dad on the farm or assisting his mom or Pappy with a project. Some of his fondest memories were spent in the garden with his Pappy John, pausing for a cold glass of lemonade, or enjoying snowy mornings at the kitchen island with his dad, building Lincoln Logs and sharing laughter together. He especially loved his childhood birthday parties, playing endless games of wiffle ball in the front yard surrounded by friends and family.
Tucker’s love for the outdoors and his strong work ethic led him to pursue his passion at the Missouri Welding Institute in Nevada, Missouri, where he was currently enrolled. He approached everything in life with enthusiasm and dedication, whether caring for livestock, baling hay, or simply spending time with those he loved.
Those who knew Tucker will remember his bright smile, gentle heart, and the way his old soul shone through in everything he did. He had a classic sense of style — always favoring a nice hat and a crisp western button-up. He adored his girlfriend Scarlett, with whom he shared countless happy memories, from weekend dinners at Longhorn Steakhouse to enjoying ice cream together. Tucker loved deeply and lived fully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and quiet strength.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tucker’s life on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at White Oak Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Scott Welty and Pastor Adam Asher. Interment will follow at White Oak Grove Cemetery.
Though Tucker’s time with us was far too short, his impact will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him. His warmth, compassion, and joyful spirit will never be forgotten.
